Level Classes

Beginner Ballet

Grades 3rd-Up: No previous training. Emphasis is on learning and executing the fundamentals of ballet. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recitals, as well as events around the area. Ballet I is for students who are wanting to place a focus on their ballet technique and/or participate on our competition team.  

Intermediate Ballet

Grades 6th-Up: Must have completed ballet I and/or been assessed into the ballet II class. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recital, as well as, events around the area. Ballet II is for students who would like to further their ballet training and/or participate on our competition team.

AdvancedBallet

Grades 6th-Up: Must have completed ballet I & 2 and/or been assessed into the ballet III class. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recital, as well as, events around the area. Ballet III & IV is for students who have mastered the basics of ballet, want to participate on our competition team, and/or want to be on pointe. Two advanced ballet classes are recommended a week at this level. 

​Pre-Pointe

Ages 13 & up: Must have completed or are currently enrolled in Ballet III & IV. Students in this class will not perform in either recital or at local events. Pre-pointe is strictly for students who are currently or are wanting to be on pointe soon. Two advanced ballet classes are recommended a week at this level. 

Pointe

Ages 13 & up: Must have completed or are currently completing ballet IV & pre-pointe. They must also be assessed by the ballet instructor and have a recent physical from a doctor stating that their plates in their feet are done growing. Students may perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recital, as well as, events around the area. Pointe is for students who are serious about executing the fundamentals of ballet and who are seeking a new opportunity. 

Beginner Jazz

Grades 3rd-Up: No previous training. Emphasis is on learning and executing the fundamentals of jazz. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recitals, as well as events around the area. Jazz I is for students who are wanting to place a focus on their jazz technique and/or participate on our competition team. If choosing to take this class, we recommend also being enrolled in ballet 1 at the same time or prior to taking jazz I. 

Intermediate/AdvancedJazz

Grades 6th-Up: Must have completed jazz I and/or been assessed into the jazz II & III class. Must also currently be enrolled in a ballet class. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recital, as well as events around the area. Jazz II & III is for students who have mastered the fundamentals of jazz and would like to further their jazz training and/or participate on our competition team. 

Beginner Lyrical/Contemporary

Grades 3rd-Up: No previous training. Emphasis is on learning and executing the fundamentals of lyrical/contemporary. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recitals, as well as events around the area. Lyrical/contemporary I is for students who are wanting to place a focus on their lyrical/contemporary technique and/or participate on our competition team. If choosing to take this class, we recommend also being enrolled in ballet I at the same time or prior to taking lyrical/contemporary. 

Intermediate Lyrical/Contemporary

Grades 6th-Up: Must have completed lyrical/contemporary I and/or been assessed into the class. Must also currently be enrolled in a ballet class. Students will perform at least one routine in our winter and spring recital, as well as events around the area. Lyrical/Contemporary II & III is for students who have mastered the fundamentals of Lyrical/Contemporary and would like to further their training and/or participate on our competition team.
